A better moss than Java is called Taiwan moss. Faster ,greener and not wiry. Apistogramma are really for experts as they have conditions that have to be exact for them to thrive. Very good water, high quality foods, high temperatures, and only certain tankmates for them to do well. That new fish from Africa looks like a winner!

These fish are great little guys. I personally would suggest not housing them with Poecilia genus since they're so closely related and there's currently debate in the scientific community whether they can hybridize. Thanks for making this video Mike and getting the info out. Since they're critically endangered and we have now gotten them on the CARES list we need to spread awareness of this species.

I have a colony of these wonderful little fish! I like them very much.

Ive had the limia islia in my fish room about 3 years now and have 2 tanks of them and a few in a community tank. Such active fish and definitely not the usual live bearers. Mine are the greg sage line that i got from Skull aquatics. Love these fish.

I'll be at The Aquatic Expo just outside of Charlotte this weekend. It's a two-day event. They have freshwater, saltwater (mostly corals), and reptiles, raffles, speakers, etc.

Would you think around 3 honey gouramis and a few rummy nose tetras and corries, and a few shrimp would work for a 20 gallon high?

The only thing they could do is make the 70 so it fits on a 75 gallon tank. The 110 is too big for a 75 when just want to run with a canister filter.
